Lalitha Dental Speciality Centre · Patient portal

Terms of Use

In effect from 24 September 2026

About the portal

The patient portal is provided by the clinic. It lets you book and manage appointments, keep your contact and medical details up to date, and see your prescriptions and bills.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Your account

Use your own email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done using your account. Tell the clinic straight away if you think someone else has used it.

One account belongs to one patient. If you create an account for your child or for someone in your care, you must be their parent or legal guardian, and you manage the account on their behalf.

Not for emergencies

The portal is not watched around the clock. In a dental or medical emergency, call the clinic or go to the nearest hospital.

Appointments

An appointment booked through the portal is a request until the clinic confirms it. Its status is shown in the portal.

The clinic may sometimes need to move or cancel an appointment and will try to tell you in good time. If you cannot come, please cancel in the portal or call the clinic.

Payments

The portal does not take payments. Bills shown in the portal are copies for your reference. You pay at the clinic.

The information you give

Please keep your details and medical history accurate and up to date. Your dentist relies on them, for example to avoid giving you a medicine you are allergic to.

What you enter in the portal does not replace telling your dentist about anything important at your visit.

Your records

Prescriptions, bills and other records shown in the portal are copies of the clinic's records. If they ever differ, the clinic's own record is the one that counts.

Nothing in the portal is a substitute for advice from your dentist.

Using the portal fairly

Do not try to see anyone else's information, interfere with how the portal works, or use it for anything unlawful. The clinic may suspend or close an account that is misused.

When the portal is unavailable

The portal may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or an internet outage. Your care never depends on it: you can always call or visit the clinic.

To the extent the law allows, the clinic is not responsible for loss caused by the portal being unavailable.

Closing your account

You can ask the clinic to close your portal account at any time. Closing it does not delete your treatment records. The Privacy Notice explains what is kept and why.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, you will be shown the new version and asked to accept it before you next use the portal.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts where the clinic is located.
